The importance of a sustainable development was put on the agenda of many international organizations, not only the United Nations itself, but also Governments from all over the world, business organizations, NGOs (Non Government Organizations) (that started to add “D” for development) and also individuals. Since then, a sustainable development is not seen as someone else’s task. It IS assumed to be everyone’s responsibility.
