It is an Assistant Professor of Electronic Commerce and Web Marketing and Simulation Game, among other courses at the Lusíada University of Vila Nova de Famalicão. Cristina de Abreu is Associate Professor at Faculty of Economics Science and Management – University Lusíada Porto, and University Lusíada Famalicão, Portugal, where she teaches International Economics, Public Economics and Growth and Development Economics.
Research Fellow and Director of the scientific research project “The Economics of Corruption in Contemporary Portuguese Society” in cooperation with the criminal investigation Portuguese police (Polícia Judiciária). In 2011 she edited the book The Economics of Corruption in Contemporary Developed Societies.
She is a media analyst on corruption and anticorruption reforms issues and on national and international economics subjects.
